Bradshaw Hall Fisheries** (Bradshaw, Bolton) BL2 4JW
Coarse and Carp Fishing lessons available on 8 lakes. Bradshaw Hall Fisheries is a commercial coarse-fishery with the aim of promoting the benefits of angling as a peaceful and relaxing sport. All eight lakes are of historical importance. The current owners took over operation of the site as a fishery in the year 2000, which has since seen all coarse-fishing requirements catered for, from the beginner to the specimen hunter.
Church Gardens (Bradshaw, Bolton) BL2 3ET
Coarse fishing lessons. Church Gardens is a beautiful lake situated in Harwood near Bolton it offers excellent coarse fishing with a good head of mid sized Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach and Perch.
Belmont Valley Fishery** (Egerton Road, Belmont, Bolton, Lancashire)
Coarse and Specimen Carp fishing lessons available on 2 lakes. Belmont Valley is nestled at the foot of Winter Hill in a beautifully wooded location. The fishery comprises of two waters, a specimen Carp lake which takes some beating both in it's stock of specimen Carp and it's looks and a coarse fishing lake which holds more than one or two surprises. I have caught lots of fish from both lakes and this is a firm favourite of mine.
Wyreside Lakes Fishery* (Lancaster) LA2 9DG
Specimen Carp fishing lessons available on 5 lakes. Wyreside offers some excellent specimen Carp and Pike fishing on a variety of lakes from the intmate River lake all the way up to Wyre lake the jewel in the estate. Twenty pound Carp or Pike can be caught at the right times of year and even Carp of nearly 40lbs have been reported. Bob, Matthew, Sally and the team run the fishery and can cater for all needs and I can personally vouch for the Chicken curry in the bar/restaurant!
Starmount (Radcliffe, Manchester) BL2 6RE
Coarse fishing lessons on 3 lakes. These three lakes hold a mixture of coarse fish including Roach, Rudd, Perch, Bream, Tench, Carp and Crucians, some to specimen size. The lakes offer spacious pegs for those anglers who require a large, flat and safety conscious platform from which to fish.
Pilsworth Fisheries (Pilsworth Road, Heywood, Greater Manchester).
Coarse and Specimen Carp fishing lessons available on 4 lakes. This fishery has three small coarse fishing lakes and one larger specimen carp lake. The carp run to over 30lbs and a 20 pounder isn’t uncommon. In the winter the larger lake is an excellent specimen Pike water.
The Jumbles** (Bromley Cross, Bolton) BL2 4JS
Coarse and Winter Pike fishing lessons. This reservoir, lying in the valley of Bradshaw Brook, was inaugurated on the 11th March 1971 for Bolton Corporation Waterworks. It's a popular walking area, and as a country park, is host to many forms of wildlife. The reservoir offers excellent winter Specimen Pike fishing with Pike caught to nearly 30lbs. There is also a huge head of Bream and silver fish in the water.
Wrightington Fisheries** (Wrightington, Wigan) WN6 9SA
Coarse fishing lessons on 4 lakes. These four beautiful lakes hold a vast variety of coarse fish which feed readily at all times of the year.
Four Seasons Fisheries * (Blackpool) FY3 0AY
Specimen Carp fishing lessons on 2 lakes. Both Mill and Lodge lake contain some hidden gems capable of smashing most anglers personal best. The beautifully planted lakes hold both specimen Carp and Cat fish, I have watched two of the Lodge lake Cat fish (31lbs and 43lbs) being landed and I can honestly say it's not for the faint hearted.
Four Seasons also offers excellent match style fishing on Newtons lake with around 40 pegs.
Although Improve Your Fishing is based around the Bolton and North Manchester area there are lots of other waters which we can conduct lessons on and I am happy to travel to other locations on request.
